Job Description

You will be proactively responsible for strengthening international supply chain with regard to quality, cost and flexibility and a proven track record in contract negotiation. You will have a familiarity with products such as electronics, components, cables, connectors etc.

You will have experience in dealing with:

• Suppliers/manufacturers on a global basis (China, India and Europe) in technology based industries i.e. audio, lighting, satellite, TV and security
• Computerised buying
• Negotiating/liaising with suppliers
• Organising and carrying out meetings with suppliers

You will be responsible for:

• Placing orders
• Ensuring scheduled orders are received on time
• Assisting in resolving supplier quality issues

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, excellent analytical and action planning skills, be flexible, numerate and a team player. Working knowledge of Mandarin would be an advantage.
